PEOPLE AROUND US - RICHARD VIJAYAKUMAR

AWARENESS IS THE METHOD, MATURATION IS THE RESULT

This blog is about a young activist who inspired me the most in recent days. He was the best example for the quote "Maturity is defined by experience, not by age". He is Richard Vijayakumar, a 18 years old college student. Actually it's heart whelming to see such young inspiring personalities. He  doesn't attained the eligible age to vote, but he owns leadership qualities. I randomly came across his video in the social media platforms. Simply, His camera is making wonders. It captures the pictures along with emotions.

The video he posted on Instagram on raising voice for justice where my respect towards him peaked. He raised his voice against a random bus conductor treating his women passenger in improper manner. Literally, this was happening across many cities. There exists many men who treat women as a pleasure object. Every independent women who goes to schools, colleges and office faces such shits everyday. But most of the women are not at all ready to question. Some of us fear, some of us feel frustrated, some of us hesitate. Men raising voice for women is absolutely commendable. Such men should be appreciated, like Richard. There are many hidden Richard. This is my appreciation post for those people. You people don't have an idea of how big your actions are. You are literally saving the mental peace of women community. Every women is facing this trauma atleast once in their lifetime, even me too. Believe me, a women will remember the trauma throughout. Even some women are hesitating to protect other women in the fear of being insulted and assaulted. This feeling of helpless literally ruined many womanhood. People like Richard are giving hope to the women community. Girls and Ladies! Take this as sign, see men activist like Richard as your inner self bursting out and come on! Have courage to raise your voice. Stop tolerating as your body is only yours. There is nobody who have rights over you, even your spouse. Any form of abuse is crime irrespective of  physically or mentally.

It's not all men, but it's always a men.

Best wishes Richard. Kudos to the work you've done, doing and going to do !!
